Hidden Track

Consider this post the reward for waiting through the silence. Or for just forgetting about having it on. Not that it's going to be a big reward. We're not talking $50 bucks or a puppy or anything.

I leave for MSP in a mere 4 days! First on the Northern docket: my personal fav event of December: the BTAAs. The gorgeous carmelized sugar on the creme brulee? I'm going w/ the family Maritime and we will be indulging in Buca beforehand. And for any foodier-than-thou party pooper who thinks that Buca isn't good: I hope your scruples keep you warm at night, because I know my eggplant parmigiana does.

Other highlights planned:

-Christmas Eve w/ Blissa and the folks!
-Wine and pregnant belly rubbing with Blissa, the Redhead, and Gabby!
-Finishing holiday shopping at Patina, et al.!
-Cold! Paul Douglas, you make it snow, you make it snow now.
-Flocked tree!
-Cooking for more than one person!
-Ringing in New Year w/ absolutely everyone chez No. 2 w/ a Jetset finish!
-Going shooting w/ Dad!
-Things I haven't even thought about yet!

Needless to say, I'm a Happy Hannah to be returning to L'Etoile du Nord.

To do before leaving:
-clean out fridge
-pack
-learn how to program thermostat
-decide whether to take MARTA to the airport or cab it
-work work work so that I don't have to while I'm back
